FFF Bayern is hosting a new start-up competition to give targeted support to up-and-coming production companies whose headquarters or facilities are located in Bavaria and thereby further develop Bavaria as a location for the film industry. This initiative aims to assist talented entrepreneurs in establishing production companies that are sustainable and innovative.

An independent panel of experts (Manfred Burger, Julia Rappold, Martin Moszkowicz) has selected three new production companies to each receive an award of 60,000 euros at FOFS. This initiative was the brainchild of students in the Production and Media Business program under Prof. Ingo Fliess at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). Prof. Fliess will moderate a panel discussion among the prizewinners and distinguished industry representatives immediately following the award ceremony. To inquire about attending the event, please contact event@fff-bayern.de(opens in a new tab).
