There are plenty of ideas for films out there. But how do you turn one into a project that can actually be realized? Together with producer Simon Bogocz of WennDann Film (ZWEIGSTELLE, Audience Award at the Munich International Film Festival 2025), we’ll discuss funding opportunities, budgeting, and the first steps toward creating your own film project. In candid and practical terms, Simon will share experiences, challenges, and key insights from his work as a young producer. This conversation is for anyone who wants to put their ideas on the big screen and is looking for guidance in navigating the film industry’s complex financing system.

The event is part of a collaboration between Stadtsparkasse München and the Festival of Future Storytellers to offer support to emerging filmmakers.
